猫咪容易传染狂犬病吗？

1.什么是狂犬病（Rabies） ？ Rabies is a disease of the nervous system that can affect any living creature. It is caused by viruses that are transmitted to animals through bites from infected rats， mice and other small mammals. The most common species affected are canines (dogs) although cats， ferrets， hamsters and guinea pigs also fall ill with the disease. 狂犬病是一种中枢神经系统疾病，它可以影响任何生物。由病毒引起，通过受感染的鼠类、兔类等小动物咬伤传播。最常见的动物是犬类，但是猫、狐狸、仓鼠和豚鼠也会感染该病。
2. 如何预防狂犬病？ Avoid contact with bats， rodents and rabbits if you want to reduce your risk of infection. Never handle a wild animal or one you haven't seen before， particularly on its own.
